4th March 1992. Red Hot Chili Peppers, Rollins Band, The Family Stand. Hummingbird. Birmingham. £10.00.

The Family Stand were a tad average.

Rate 5 out of 10.

Rollins Band.

Lesson 2. Do Not Let Rollins Band support you. An impossible act to follow. So intense. They came across like Black Sabbath on steroids. Great to see Henry Rollins live at last (is that a Black Sabbath pun?)

Rate 10 out of 10.

Red Hot Chili Peppers were very good and the place was so full they must have let more people in or something. Great tracks but the band seemed a bit disinterested.

Rate 9 out of 10.

The following video features Henry Rollins at The Hummingbird, it’s a bit slow to load but well worth viewing.
