A Very Peculiar Practice.

In 1986 the BBC ran a drama / black comedy that is a televisual classic. The show gets little acknowledgement but stands alone with a perfect blend of humour and great characters / scenarios.

Not only is it Peter Davidson’s finest role but that could be said for practically every actor in it. Light hearted but with a dark undebelly. It is also surreal at times. If you’ve seen the series you may remember the episode with the nuns.

I won’t ruin it. Do seek it out if you can. It is quite hard to find but was released on DVD (currently deleted). Your probably looking at around £20 on eBay, but that really would be money well spent (the two series are about 800 minutes).
