The Misfits – Night Of The Living Dead

On Halloween, 1979, The Misfits released their 5th single Night Of The Living Dead.

2000 copies were pressed on the Plan 9 label consisting of three more Misfits classics.

Night Of The Living Dead occupies the A-Side and is a catchy punk chant-a-long that the band can do so well.

Where Eagles Dare is the first track of two on the B-Side. Yet ANOTHER Misfits total gem. Low production levels cannot hinder the chorus. ‘I aint no goddam son of a bitch, you better think about it baby’.

Ratfink is the final track on the 7 Inch. It is the only cover version The Misfits recorded and released. A song from 1963 originally by Allan Sherman – you’d be forgiven for thinking it was a song The Misfits had penned themselves.
